Valentine's day Project

I can't believe it is already a new year. I have been missing in some serious action around the Blog World. I have not posted in quite sometime but trust me I have kept up with reading all of your blog post on a daily basis. I love to hear what you have been up to and all the great inspiration you share with all of us. So again let me start off by wishing you all and yours a Very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I have posted a pic that was sent to me by my sister and I really wish I had the information to give credit to. But I just wanted to share that I will be trying out these felt heart shaped decorations. I hope they come out just as good as they look. I picked up a few felt sheets at my local Michael's store for 28 cents a sheet. I am not sure if this price was a steal but all I know is that I am happy that they had all the colors I was looking for.  Hope you keep posted for the end results of my heart felt decor.

Well it's about time that I got around to making this Cupcake Messenger bag.. Now I wish this messenger bag had some cupcakes inside of it. LOL!!! =) This morning I decided to take out the material and get to work. I had been procrastinating for quite some time and don't even know why.  Well If I ever have a little girl of my own. She will be one lucky little girl. She will definitely have a room full of purses made by me. = ) This is a total inside joke: I can't make no GUCCI  purse but I can definitely make you a HBI purse!!

Flash Back Friday.... 2001

Happy Friday!! I was at home looking through some pictures that I just had to post this. I have been working since I turned 14 years old and started off with Summer Job Programs. Then I was able to get a permit and work after school . You will not believe but one of my first jobs was at the Famous Chuck E Cheese and guess what yes I was the Famous Chuck E!!! I still laugh about it. I will say I definitely had a great time doing it. I continued to work during my high school years and after that I managed to get in to the medical field and have been working there since. My best friend and I were always busy bees and always had part-time jobs. This pic is one of my part-time jobs after working a full time shift. JoAnn gave me good times and good discounts too!! LOL! This was in 2001 Talk about Flash Back Friday!!

Mod Podge...

Have you heard of MOD PODGE?  I am sure if you are a crafty you have. Well I have been hearing a lot of this great product and have seen many great crafts done with it.  That I must get my hands on some of this stuff. =) For those of you who are still wondering what MOD PODGE is. It is this all in one glue sealer and finish. I read up on this wonderful product and I like it because it's non-toxic and water base. For those of you who have little ones you know how helpful they want to be while we are crafting.
